PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

We are hiring a hands-on, proactive and persistent manager to source and manage suppliers for robotics components, tools, machinery and equipment supporting R&D, assembly and manufacturing.

I. Responsibilities

• Identify and contact suppliers; consistently follow up by message, email and phone to obtain quotations, technical specifications and delivery timelines.
• Work with engineers to clarify requirements, confirm specifications and identify alternative sources.
• Compare suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery conditions.
• Track samples, purchase orders, payments and deliveries; resolve delays, shortages and supplier issues through to completion.
• Maintain and update a detailed tracker daily for every item: part number, specifications, quantity, supplier, quotation, communication status, order progress, payment status, expected delivery date, outstanding issues, responsible person and next action.
• Maintain a supplier database with complete quotations, technical documents, correspondence and purchasing records.
• Proactively flag shortages, delays and budget overruns, with proposed solutions.

II. Requirements

• Fluent in Vietnamese and Mandarin Chinese, spoken and written, including direct supplier communication and negotiation.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing and supplier management for technical products; experience sourcing from China preferred.
• Willingness to personally handle detailed daily execution, repetitive follow-ups and documentation.
• Persistent, organised and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple suppliers and orders simultaneously.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and recordkeeping skills.
• English proficiency is an advantage.

Expected outcome: Required items meet specifications, arrive on schedule and are purchased at reasonable cost, with complete supplier records and clear, current visibility into every order.
