JOB PURPOSE
The Spa Manager is directly responsible for the daily operation, hygiene standards, service quality, and guest experience at KiN Hotel’s Onsen and Sauna facility. This is an active, hands- on role requiring a strong customer- centric mindset and a proactive attitude to deliver exceptional service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Operations & Guest Experience

Welcome guests, explain Onsen guidelines/etiquette, handle bookings, and assist with self- service features.
Proactively collect guest feedback and resolve any complaints or requests in a prompt, professional manner.
Oversee day- to- day operations of the Onsen, Sauna, and relaxation zones, ensuring a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.

Facility Hygiene, Safety & Water Quality

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Conduct regular daily checks on pool water quality, filtration, temperature control, and Sauna room conditions in coordination with the hotel Engineering team.
Maintain pristine cleanliness and sanitation across all Spa and Onsen areas throughout operational hours.

Revenue Generation & Service Promotion

Upsell additional hotel/spa services to maximize revenue per guest.
Work closely with Sales & Marketing to promote Onsen packages, day passes, and special promotions to drive walk- in and hotel guest usage.
Manage daily appointment schedules and optimize facility utilization.

Administration & Operations Standard

Manage inventory levels of towels, linens, guest amenities, and spa supplies, ensuring stock is always maintained.
Assist Management and the Project team during pre- opening regarding basic Sauna and Onsen facilities and equipment setup.
Prepare weekly and monthly operational, usage, and revenue reports.
Maintain, update, and strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the facility.
